How it all started...

We first met in 2019 at our local animal shelter by having the most insignificant 10 second conversation. By Instagram hashtags and the grace of God, we found one another online and met for breakfast. The rest is history, as they say!

We have gone through many of life’s trials and milestones together, supporting each other every step of the way. After our

respective birth experiences, we felt called to enter the birth space, but didn’t know in what capacity and hadn’t shared this

feeling with one another.

Finally, Sam, approached Sara with what had been on her heart, to which Sara said, “me too!” As soon as we learned of one

another’s pull to birth-work, we hit the ground running. We’re on a mission to serve women and bring awareness to doula work in the birthing community.

We have each had our own unique birth stories but one common theme is our desire to empower, educate, and support women and their families through their pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey!
